Last Lecture Series: English Professor James Warren
If you knew you were going to die soon what would you have to say? What kind of speech would you like to give? Well Carnegie Mellon has been asking noted intellectuals, stars and others those questions for years. Last month however they asked the question of one of their own who has only a couple of weeks to live.
Professor Randy Pausch is dying of pancreatic cancer even though he looks healthy as a horse and proves it by knocking out a round of push-ups. Given the opportunity to give his last lecture he speaks on how one can achieve their childhood dreams, something that he knows a lot about since he has accomplished most of his.
It’s a touching piece. Here’s wishing his family the best.
